Well the first step is the hardest, and we can argue all day what that step is but the first step to me will always be ACTION. I finally launched my first product on ClickBank today. Although I will not tell you what the product or niche is, I will tell you that the product is public domain, which means the product cost me nothing to create. My total cost of this launch was $8 for domain and $10 for a written sales page which I outsourced. Now all I need to do is get a better design and implement an opt-in. Then come clone and scale.
I gotta run so more on this later… subscribe to my RSS or newsletter.
Network Solutions sucks. I have been using networksolutions.com to check on domain names because they allow up to 10 searches at a time and keep a list of search results so i don’t have to keep writing everything down. The other day I went to networksolutions.com to check on some domains and found one I wanted was available. So instead of paying $30 or whatever to registering the domain name with Network Solutions, I went over to 1and1 to register the domain name for $7, there is even a sale on domains names at 1and1 so I would have gotten it cheaper.
After logging into 1and1 I found that the domain name that I was just told was available, was not! I went back and checked networksolutions.com which was still saying the domain name was available. So I went to who.is and checked it out. Network Solutions had registered the domain name right after I searched the domain name using networksolutions.com!
WTF!
I did a Google search to see what the deal was and after reading this post, I found out they hold domains for 5 days after you search, uhm for security reason.
My question is, will searched domain names by Network Solutions that are registered and held for “security reason” show up on newly registered domain search sites? After the 5 days will the domain name show up and recently expired domain search sites? I am sure people are already exploiting this situation somehow and sniping some great domain names after the security hold is lifted.
There is a lot of talk around the forums about this by now and people are not happy about Network Solutions dirty tactics.

Life is all about rhythm, so if you are focused on switching between different things all day, the thing you will be best at doing all day is “multi-tasking”. Focus on what needs to get done in what order and do them one thing at a time. A simple list in the morning can work wonders for your daily productivity. Define what it is that you need to get done and how you are going to do it.
Here are some questions to ask yourself: Are you surfing, researching or working? How many browser tabs do you have open and for how long?
Multi-tasking is a garbage concept that really has a person focus on not putting their best into one thing at a time. When you get into the rhythm and go with the flow, everything come naturally. When you switch between things you are really reseting yourself to a new song and dance each time. Stop doing so many things at once and finish what you started.
And one more thing, when I say “you”, I really mean “me”.
I don’t want to get in the habit of posting videos and mp3s but I wanted to share this video of marketing guru Seth Godin as he elegantly entangles the concepts of “remarkability” into your mind, illustrated with some great marketing success examples. As an affiliate marketer, you might already be aware of this concept, maybe in other words, however this time it might actually “click”.

I have to admit that I am a fan of Amit Mehta’s blog at SuperAffiliateMindset.com where Amit posts about living a super affiliate lifestyle. But what I like about his blog the most are his posts regarding the kind of mindset it takes to become a super affiliate. Amit has become very popular and very successful in very short period of time, he is considered a PPC expert to many and will be the keynote speaker at the upcoming PPC Classroom Seminar. Anyways I was quite excited to find an mp3 interview with him in my inbox this evening, so excited that I wanted to share it with you before I even had a chance to give it my full attention.
Lets face it, spammers are smart. Sure they are annoying but they are good at something. Perhaps not with their business models but they are certainly skilled with computers and internet. That is why there is a multi-million dollar industry to prevent them.
If you have a WordPress blog you may be familiar with the Askismet filter that prevents spam comments. If you go in an check out some of the URLs that are being spammed, you might notice some from .edu domains. Hundreds of crappy message boards are installed deep within .edu domains which seemed to be popular among spammers. Although they aren’t much for conversation, you could always reply back with your own link since URL is only language spoken by many spammers anyways.
I just wanted to share this information since a lot of people feel it’s impossible to get their links on a .edu domain.
*One other plus with spam, is the occasional poetic beauty I find within lines rendered by automatic sentence and paragraph generators.
UPDATE: Since I have posted this, AuctionAds has fallen off the map and no longer functioning. I am sorry for all those who have lost any commissions due to the failure of AuctionAds.com, especially if this was something I had recommended. AuctionAds.com was great for a short time until Shoemoney sold it and commissions when down and then eventually not paid out. Please comment if you know of any healthy alternatives to AuctionAds.com or similar.
AuctionAds is one of the quickest growing affiliate type programs. AuctionAds is a live eBay auction advertisement that you can place on your website for commission. You will earn 50% of what eBay earns per item listed and sold through your AuctionAds links.
AuctionAds was started by ShoeMoney and team but was recently sold. The new ownership is celebrating the acquisition by rewarding new publishers that sign up with a $25 FREE bonus! Previous publishers that have not yet received a payout will also have their accounts bumped up an additional $25.
AuctionAds is great for blogs and specific niches. You can use AuctionAds as an alternative or an addition to AdSense. You can read my review about AuctionAds and other affiliate networks here.
So if you haven’t already, go ahead and sign up with AuctionAds and please do so with my affiliate link and we can earn together. Sign up for AuctionAds here.
Since Facebook opened their new CPC flyer advertising system just a few days ago, affiliates have been flooding Facebook with ‘Free iPod Offers” and the such. It seems there has been quite the debacle with some users at WickedFire -vs- Facebook regarding thier new CPC ad system. The thread entitled “Me Owning Facebooks CPC” started to climax when BrianFB from Facebook publicly threatened advertisers with legal action on the WikedFire forum. The thread was closed just moments ago. Here is how it went down…
I have finally decided to set up this blog and actually make real posts on it. I enjoy sharing my interests such as making money online and internet affiliate marketing, however I do not have many people around me that I can talk about this stuff to. When I talk about making money online to people that do not make money online, either they just seem to get upset or jealous or show interest up to the point of actually doing anything to generate income online. So here it is, my blog. I am just going to talk about shit and if you decide to tune in, then hopefully great for you. If you have something to share then hopefully great for me. So with that, hopefully great for both of us as I sincerely encourage any participation without hesitation.
